Selection Process
In early September the African Banker Awards Committee will announce a shortlist of five entries in each award category. The Committee is composed of the editorial team of African Business and African Banker magazine and it benefits from the expertise of leading organisations and industry figures with an in-depth knowledge of the African business landscape. Once the shortlist has been decided, nominees will be informed individually.
In the second week of September the jury will select one winner from the nominees in each category.
The 2009 winners have been announced at the award ceremony on the evening of 6th of October 2009 in Istanbul, Turkey. For a list of winners please click here. The 2010 winners will be announced at the African Banker Awards in Washington DC, USA, in October 2010.
